We only order our produce after receiving your order to avoid food waste and ensure you receive only the freshest fruits and vegetables.
Our story
Obstwelt.com was founded in 2021 by Eduard Baun and his business partner in Darmstadt . Today, we work with a team of seven dedicated employees who ensure that your orders are carefully packaged and arrive as quickly as possible.
Our vision
Our business idea is simple: We want to make exotic fruits accessible and affordable for everyone . From South America to Asia, we work with hand-picked suppliers to offer you a selection of the finest fruits and vegetables. Our range also includes seaweed and sea vegetables , which are a healthy addition to vegan and vegetarian diets.

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. To avoid food waste , we offer surprise boxes filled with fresh leftovers. These can be ordered directly from our shop.
Shipping & Delivery
Order deadline:
Orders received by 10 pm on Thursday can be considered.
Delivery process:
We order the goods from our suppliers on Fridays . They arrive on Tuesdays , and we immediately pack and ship the treats. Shipping is then handled by DHL or UPS Express .
Shipping costs:
- DHL standard shipping starts at €5.95 .
- During the summer months, we rely on express shipping to ensure the freshness of the goods.
